Customer Standards

Following customer standards accurately makes the installation and maintenance of systems quicker, easier and more cost-effective.

In an ideal world, the standards documents would cover every eventuality laying out exactly how a system should be structured, named, presented and audited. In the real world, though there are situations which are not covered, and common practices build up in a team working to a particular standard. Good knowledge knowledge of the way a standard is implemented comes with experience, and good communication skills with other team members from all organisations involved.

We have worked recently on a number of the major automotive standards (and had a hand in writing some of them), and also woked on some older standards from the last 15 years or so including

Jaguar Land Rover PAN, PAL and T5 standards

BMW LU standard

Emerald (London Taxis) - standard under development

Ford Motor Company (B-Car ...)

Honda
