In 2005 We provided a robotic solution to a palletising application
for a major food manufacturer.
Up to 60 boxes per minute can be handled across 3 robotic cells - each
robot system controls 3 collators which arrange the boxes into layers
or part layers. The operator controls and diagnostics are presented
on an HMI running an ABB Webware application. A separate PLC controls
the infeed and outfeed conveyors which are common to all 3 robots.
